Latest Updates (August 13th, 2008)
I just posted some pictures from the Windy City Ukulele Festival 2008 (WCUF). I know there are more pictures out there so send them to me at windycityukefest@gmail.com Also, Ukulele Tonya has posted some pictures to her blog ( www.ukuleletonya.com/blog/ ) and she did a wonderful write up on the festival. Ukulele Tonya is queen of the aloha ukulele spirit. Videos will be coming soon, along with dates for next years festival.
We want to extend a thank you to everyone who attended this years festival. The aloha spirit of learning, sharing and good will was very high, and made the festival a delightful experience. When they ask George and I why do you work so hard, and we have to say it is because this is OUR ohana (family), and they are very important to us. When you attract great people. You have a great event. And that is what happened in Des Plaines, Illinois during the WCUF. The positive feedback and personal thank you messages have been overwhelming. We loved hosting the event, and will do better to fix the problems we had this year. Also, use those workshop practice books, and give me feedback, in a month or so we can improve it next year. I will have a online form to fill out.
Keep Strumming, Singing and Smiling,
Scott, George, and Terry.
